Law enforcement officials are investigating the death of a female suspect that occurred at a home on East 20th Street near the 138th Precinct station house in Queens on March 28. Multiple sources confirmed to the New York Times that the NYPD is investigating the death of the 60-year-old woman as a homicide. The sources told the Times that police have found a second suspect in the case and have also identified the third suspect, however, those suspects have not been arrested. According to officials, the suspect who was shot was taken to Elmhurst Hospital and pronounced dead at 10:30 p.m. The suspect who was shot while attempting to flee was found in the area of 153-40 Dean Street, not far from the scene of the shooting. On March 28, hundreds of officers searched the Eastside with helicopters and horses. An investigation is ongoing.
