Canadian man charged with voyeurism after model finds camera in changing room

A Canadian man has been charged with voyeurism after a model allegedly found a recording device in a changing room at a Toronto mall.

Jack Henderson, 47, of Toronto, is accused of hiding the hidden camera while in the men’s room at the Yorkdale Shopping Centre, Gawker Canada reported. The model reportedly found the hidden camera on Saturday when he visited the men’s room, which is located just outside the mall, to change clothes.

The camera, which measured around six inches by six inches, was filmed through the bathroom door, Fox 13 Chicago reported. The model, whom Fox 13 Chicago did not identify, posted video on Facebook as soon as he found the camera. The model told Gawker he thought at first that he had found something that was an appliance.

The model uploaded a second video to YouTube of himself in the changing room. The video quickly went viral on Facebook.

Toronto police said Henderson was arrested late Tuesday. His bail hearing was scheduled for Wednesday.

Neither Henderson nor his lawyer could be reached for comment on Wednesday.

A spokeswoman for Yorkdale Mall said the incident was reported to police immediately.

“Yorkdale is fully cooperating with authorities and will be instituting new security measures at Yorkdale effective immediately to make sure this kind of incident is never repeated,” spokeswoman Kerri Elliott said in a statement.

Fox 13 Chicago contributed to this report.
